Coating it early is the cheapest time to do it - there is nothing to strip back and no years of oil to chase out of the concrete.

We diamond grind the whole floor back to sound concrete, fill the cracks and divots, and build the new system on top so it bonds properly instead of peeling in a year.

Flake epoxy is the most popular choice - a base coat, a full broadcast of vinyl flake, then a clear polyaspartic topcoat. It hides the imperfections that are normal in an older slab, grips underfoot, and wipes clean. Plain epoxy, metallic and anti slip finishes are all available too.
