How long does epoxy flooring take to cure?
Most residential garage floors are walkable within 24 hours and ready for vehicle traffic within a few days, depending on the system used.
Do I need to prepare my garage floor before you arrive?
No - we handle all grinding, crack repair, and surface preparation as part of the job.
Can the coating be applied over an existing painted floor?
Generally no — existing paint or sealer needs to be fully removed before we can apply a proper coating system. Coating over paint almost always leads to delamination down the track. Our diamond grinding prep removes old coatings and opens up the concrete surface so the new system bonds correctly.
Is your coating suitable for outdoor areas like patios and pool surrounds?
Yes. We use UV-stable polyaspartic topcoats on outdoor surfaces so the colour won't fade or yellow from sun exposure. For pool surrounds and wet areas, we can also add an anti-slip quartz to the topcoat to improve traction when wet.
How do I get a quote — do you need to visit first?
For most standard garages and sheds, we can give you a ballpark over the phone or via message if you send us the approximate size and a few photos of the existing floor. For larger or more complex areas, we prefer to do a quick on-site measure so we can check the concrete condition and give you an accurate price.
