Flake Epoxy Garage Floor — Morayfield

A full flake epoxy garage floor installed at a new home in Morayfield, on Brisbane's north side. The customer wanted a hard-wearing, easy-clean garage floor that would finish off the new build properly and cope with daily cars, bikes and foot traffic for years to come. We specified our Flake Epoxy system in a classic grey, charcoal and white blend that suits the crisp white walls and doors.

The bare concrete slab was diamond-ground to open up the surface and remove laitance, then vacuumed and hand-edged along every skirting and door threshold. A moisture-tolerant epoxy primer went down first, followed by a pigmented epoxy base coat and a full broadcast of decorative flake to rejection. Once cured, the excess flake was scraped and vacuumed, and the floor was sealed with a high-build, UV-stable polyaspartic topcoat for a smooth, gloss, easy-clean finish that won't yellow.

What the customer gets: a seamless, hot-tyre resistant floor with a subtle texture underfoot, no dust or bare concrete, and a finish that hides dirt and outlasts paint many times over. Walk-on the next day, vehicles back in after 48–72 hours.
